Shinya Aoki made a huge statement against former rival Kotetsu Boku at ONE: KINGS AND CHAMPIONS in Singapore. The Japanese martial arts legend was all over “No Face” from the opening bell, taking the fight to the ground, where he worked to Boku’s back and softened up his opponent with punches, heel kicks and neck cranks. It was more of the same in the second round, with Aoki dominating in grappling department before ultimately sinking in the hooks to become the new ONE Lightweight World Champion.
